It’s no secret that professional sports are filled with a bunch of actors. There’s no shame in that. As much as these guys love the game, they have developed a certain affinity to the spotlight that they look for beyond just ball. And thanks to the good guys over at Relativity Sports, some of the biggest names have a shot at Hollywood glory.

From NBA superstar Dwight Howard, to the budding NFL phenom Dez Bryant, these young guns give it their all to try and land an official movie role for the next blockbuster film. Their task? Just try acting out some of the most famous scenes from “300″ to “Forrest Gump” (shoutout to Dwight).

The results are just as expected. Phenomenal. I know we see these guys flopping and faking injuries all the time during games, but we didn’t think that the transition would be this seamless. The Screen Actors Guild should really consider building a pipeline of lifestyle actors from pro sports, as acting has officially become a vital part of pretty much every game. It’s genius!

Dwight especially seems to have the brightest future, as being emotional just comes so naturally to him. Best of luck with this offseason endeavor, boys. Surely we’ll see you get your Oscars or Daytime Emmy’s in no time. Hopefully not before a Lombardi or Larry O’Brien Trophy. Now that would be awkward.
