Dwight Howard is finally getting what he has always wanted ever since joining the Los Angeles Lakers last offseason: his big break. We all knew he wanted a crack at the big screen and that his acting career was at least some part of his decision to move to Hollywood.

And while he has made some brief cameos here and there, appearing in such films as “Just Wright” and “The Three Stooges,” it appears that he is getting his biggest role yet. He has been enlisted to appear with renowned actors Woody Harrelson and Owen Wilson to star in the new movie… “Free Bird”?

And what exactly will he be starring as? Try a motherf*cking turkey. I’m sorry, a turkey. Yes, as in he’s going to be a turkey because this is an animated film. Deadline.com made this report and we can expect this film to hit theaters November 2013. Just in time for Thanksgiving. Now that makes sense.

It looks like his one year of hell in LA wasn’t in vain after all. Surely he will walk away with an Oscar, some MTV awards and, hell, maybe even a Medal of Honor from the White House.

Dwight has his final wish come true before he is for certain to be moved to anywhere but the Lakers: his shot at the big screen and his dream of being an actor coming into fruition. But it’s not like he doesn’t already act enough on the court. Oh well.

The 25-year-old forward for the Los Angeles Clippers grew up in Oklahoma, raised by a black father […]
