This New Extreme Sport Brings ‘Horse Power’ To An Entirely Different Level

by Adam Silvers

I've never been skiing before, but if I do decide to give it a go, I'm flying to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for my intro to the slopes.

You probably never heard of the sport of skijoring, but after checking out the above video, you'll definitely want to hop on a plane to Jackson Hole and give it a shot.

I mean, where else are you going to be able to ski on some fresh powder while being pulled by a horse?

Skijoring is pretty simple, it's an action-packed, 15- to 20-second run where skiers can go as fast as 40 miles per hour while being propelled by a horse. Yup, it's that simple and, by the look of it, that crazy.

YOLO, though. Right? Sign me up for the advanced course.
