America lost. There’s no way to sugar-coat that. The Yanks put up a valiant effort, but got the same result as the 2010 games, getting knocked out in the final 16 of the World Cup. I guess you guys didn’t believe hard enough.

One star stood out among the rest yesterday, and that was none other shutdown goalkeeper Tim Howard. While he didn’t exactly have a perfect performance against the Belgians, he came pretty damn close with a number of saves that had people losing it.
