Good Guy Italian Soccer Player Offers To Adopt Baby Who Was Abandoned On The Train
Antonio Floro Flores is a forward playing for US Sassuolo Calcio, a Serie A Italian league team. A family-man to the core, he already has three children with his wife, but hopes to soon add another child to the family.
He and his wife heard the story of Francesco, a baby estimated to be only days old but found abandoned on a train in Naples on March 16. Francesco’s umbilical cord was still attached, and when the train conductor found him and brought him to the hospital, doctors said it seemed that he had been recently breastfed.
No one has claimed the newborn, despite it being a widely publicized case in Italy, but it came to the attention of the Flores family.
Dopo aver visto il piccolo Francesco, abbiamo seguito quello che dettava il cuore.sono padre prima che un calciatore, non certo un eroe!

Translation: “After seeing little Francesco, we followed what our heart dictated. I am a father before being a soccer player, but certainly not a hero!”
The couple has assured the press that they will follow all adoption protocols to properly make the little boy a member of the family. A big shout out to Antonio and his clan for their loving hearts.
