Hope Solo Loses It After Being Suspended Over Olympics Comments In New Video

As a result of comments she made following the USWNT's loss to Sweden at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, goalkeeper Hope Solo was suspended from the US women's national team for six months.

In addition to her suspension, the 35-year-old Solo reportedly had her contract terminated.

Hope Solo found out about her punishment during a meeting in Seattle with USWNT coach Jill Ellis and Dan Flynn from US Soccer.

To say Solo didn't take the news well would be, well, a giant understatement. We know this because the cameras were already rolling on Solo as part of her agreement to participate in a documentary "Keeping Score."

As you can see in the video above, Hope Solo completely lost her shit.

Upon learning about her suspension and contract termination by US Soccer, Solo was beyond livid. You can hear her say,

Six months suspension, no pay. Terminated contract... effective immediately. Terminated contract, not just a suspension.

You can hear Solo's husband, Jerramy Stevens, who accompanied her in Seattle, ask, "How can they do both?" to which Solo replies,

It's both. 17 Fucking years and it's over!
