JaVale McGee may get a lot of flak for some of the knucklehead decisions he makes on the court sometimes, but that doesn’t take away from the fact the he’s actually a pretty good guy.

McGee comes from a strong basketball background (his father played in the NBA and his mother in the WNBA), and his parents surely instilled some great values in him at a young age. Most millionaire athletes like to go to the club, spend racks and smash groupies, but apparently there is more to McGee than just that.

Recently, the Denver Nuggets center took to Vine to post a pretty awesome video portraying his generosity, as he gives a random homeless man a $100 bill. The best part of it all was that the man was asleep. I’m sure the homeless guy’s reaction to finding the money would have been even better than the video.

Shortly after the video was posted, McGee followed up with this Tweet:

Well, let’s speculate for just a second. Aside from copping a 40 ounce of some Old English, and maybe even a dub, the homeless man will surely spend the small ‘fortune’ on a tie and gearing up for his senatorial race. Either that, or he’ll buy some new kicks and join the NBA. Again, this is all just pure speculation.
