The horrific massacre in Connecticut that claimed 26 lives sent shock waves throughout the country and can be felt by everyone in all walks of life.

Kevin Durant payed special tribute to the victims last night during a game against the Sacramento Kings.

Written on his sneakers, right next to the Nike swoosh, says “Newtown CT” the name of the town where the tragedy occurred.

It is truly sickening to see such a heinous act committed but it is also important for us to stand together and support the victims and their families that lost love ones because of this.
