Kevin Ware Keeps Getting Free Gifts, NCAA Won’t Allow It
Kevin Ware is one of the most courageous college athletes to ever have ever graced and NCAA stage. The gruesome injury which he sustained during this year’s tournament would have literally ruined any other person’s life. However not only did he refuse to shed a single tear and urge his teammates to keep playing, but he persevered and inspired his Louisville family to go out and win the national championship.
And as you would imagine, the out pour of love and support he’s received has been tremendous. So much so in fact that the NCAA is now regulating the amount of gifts he’ been receiving through the school’s mail. Damn party poopers.
Their athletic office is literally flooded with letters with everything from money, to gift cards, and video games. So why can’t Kevin have any of these things that were sent to his name? Because it violates NCAA code of course. F*ck the NCAA.
So all of those free iTunes, food and other things broke college kids need cannot be accepted. Just great. I know those are the rules but there must be an exception in some cases. You’re telling me that I can’t accept some fresh baked chocolate chip cookies if someone sends it to me? FOH.
Kevin is focused on returning to the same stage where he fell but playing a much larger role in the team’s outcome. With Russ Smith returning alongside, the Cardinal are looking more dangerous than ever.
