Mark Cuban gave some controversial advice to the Lakers yesterday when he said that they should consider amnestying Kobe Bryant from the team.

The reason for this being his league-high $30.45 million next season, the last year of his contract.

LA didn’t take too kindly to his remarks. Lakers spokesman John Black made this statement.

“We’re aware of Mark Cuban’s comments and feel they are inappropriate.”

“As to the issue itself, we will not comment publicly on the amnesty issue as it relates to any of our players.”

Even Kobe himself chimed and kept it simple by saying,  ”I’ll bet he did” in regards to Cuban’s comment.

The Lakers payroll exceeds $100 million this season so it is likely they will amnesty a player, especially if they’re trying to keep Dwight. Among the candidates are Pau Gasol, Metta World Peace and Steve Blake.

Richard Sherman And Patrick Peterson Wage War Over Cornerback Supremacy

This past weekend, the Arizona Cardinals made cornerback Patrick Peterson the highest-paid NFL player of his position. The five-year, $70 million extension barely eclipsed the annual money given to divisional rival Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks. These two have strong careers and are perhaps the best corners in the league — and they know it. TBT: When Going Across The Middle In The NFL Was Suicide (Video)

Being a wide receiver in the National Football League during the 90s required only one thing: balls of steel. Rule changes have since protected offensive players […]

With Monday’s Supreme Court Hobby Lobby ruling, however […]

Poor People, Rejoice! Attractive Women Aren’t Actually Drawn To Wealthy Men

Picture yourself celebrating a special occasion at a fancy restaurant you’d normally never be able to afford. At the table next to you sits an overweight man with sagging jowls and a rapidly receding hairline squinting at the menu pressed up against his nose. Accompanying this gentleman is a woman, at least 10 years his […]

“The slower we move, the faster we die. Make no mistake, moving is living.”  From “Up in the Air” (2009) Giving career advice to the class of 2020 is something that still makes me do a double take and reminds me of the 60s hit, “In the year 2525,” by Zagar and Evans. Nonetheless, the […]
