Lance Armstrong has gone from being one of the most famous and successful athletes of all time to being banned from his sport for life. But it seems that he has yet to reach his lowest point. It seems that Armstrong may resort to narcing in order to get his lifetime ban reduced.

According to ABC News:

“He is also talking to authorities about confessing and naming names, giving up others involved in illegal doping. This could result in a reduction of his lifetime ban, according to the source, if Armstrong provides substantial and meaningful information.”

With lawsuits piling up against the fallen athlete star, USADA officials are now trying to get Armstrong to talk. It seems that the USADA, seeing that Armstrong is desperate, is planning on using him to spill some secrets that may lead to the downfall of the entire doping industry within the cycling world.

After all, Armstrong is said to be the ringleader of “the most sophisticated, professionalized and successful doping program the sport has ever seen.”

This is the reason why Travis Tygart spent all his focus on Armstrong. It wasn’t because he was holding some grudge against him- even though that may also have been the case- he needs to use him in order to bring down the entire operation.

Someone that hit as rock bottom as Lance Armstrong may not be left with any other choice but to spill the inside scoop.
