When you hear the term “Beast Mode” used in the context of sports, you can only think of one person — Marshawn Lynch. Well, either him or LeBron James really.

This year, Marshawn Lynch has been a straight beast for one of the top teams in the NFL, the Seattle Seahawks. After eight games this season, he’s racked up 201 rushing yards to go along with 6 TDs and 181 receiving yards with a score, as well.

But it wasn’t always just winning and touchdowns for the 27-year-old Oakland, California, native. He started off his career with the Buffalo Bills where they had some of the most futile seasons in recent memory.

Marshawn had no idea what he was in for when he landed in New York back in 2007, and even admitted in a recent interview that he thought Buffalo was in the Manhattan. His geography was way off and he had a nice little surprise waiting for him — snow. Cali kids don’t get that.

Marshawn was on E:60 last night when he made this admission and more. Beast Mode is more than just a monster on the field, he’s the man off of it too. This video below proves it.

How Isaiah Austin’s Potential Led Him To A Different Successful Path Than The One He Imagined

Most YouTube “Hoopmixtape” videos feature songs like “Remember the Name” with synchronized beats to emphasize vicious slams or deadly crossovers. That isn’t the case for Isaiah Austin. He scored his highlight video from the NIT championship game, accompanied by a lonely guitar that strummed three melancholy notes, which is an odd selection for such a display of all-around […]

We say we appreciate brutal honesty. We ask questions in the hope that you’ll take them seriously, and give us a balanced, well-thought out reply. Well, most of the time. Don’t Call Me Crazy: How This ‘C’ Word Is Continually Used To Hold Women Back

We should all know by now, when it comes to women, even the most innocuous words can be laden with separate and often disparaging meanings. Whereas young boys are called commanding, girls are stuck with the negative label “bossy.” Whereas “man up” implies strength and power, acting “like a girl” means being wimpy and inferior. […]

Travel Is…: What I Gained During My Solo Adventure To Southeast Asia

Something had to change; I needed a shift in my life. I was tired of the monotony and the cycle of old patterns. Every day had begun to feel like Groundhog Day. Essentially, everything was, well, fine. But to me, fine was loathsome. I had somehow stopped challenging myself and felt unchallenged by others. The relationships in […]
