You may know Martellus Bennett as the New York Giants’ starting tight end. But did you know that Bennett has saved either five or six lives?

Well, that’s according to Martellus. Yesterday, the self-proclaimed “Black Unicorn” had his latest heroic feat which involved catching a fan who fell 15 feet from the stands after last night’s game against the Green Bay Packers.

“I was doing what I usually do, moseying to the locker room and meandering around,” Bennett said (via USA Today’s Mike Garafolo). “Naturally, I just wanted to step back, but I did the righteous thing and I stepped up. I caught him, I saved his life, I tapped into my inner superhero, which I do have.

“I’m usually a ninja, but my Spidey-senses told me he was going to take a fall, so I saved his life. He owes me his first-born or something. Actually I don’t want that. Maybe a sandwich or something.”

Bennett and the man fell to the ground and Bennett needed an assist himself. “I felt like Prince, because everybody was like, ‘You okay? You okay?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m fine.’ They were helping me up.”

Great story, Martellus. But maybe you should try holding on to the passes thrown to you instead of dropping them all the time.

Cloudy With A Chance Of Kick-Ass: Weatherman Destroys ‘American Ninja Warrior’ Course (Video)

Weatherman Joe Moravsky might be enough competition for ironwoman Katy Catanzaro in the final rounds of “American Ninja Warrior” in Las Vegas. Moravsky doesn’t look like your typical bodybuilder or gymnast, and that’s because he’s not. He’s a local weatherman, who wasn’t even there to originally compete on the show, but instead to report on it. He got […]

This Ring Of Fire Pool Alley-Oop Is The Wildest Dunk We’ve Seen

This video shows an insane kid diving through a ring of fire and probably escaping death by a hair to shoot a basketball. It’s as impressive as it is totally unsafe, but I commend this guy for making an awesome video. It shows various perspectives of the stunt, so not only can you watch the jump […]
