Matt Barnes Allegedly Drove 95 Miles To Kick Derek Fisher's Ass

by Stacey Leasca

It's tough getting over an ex, just ask Matt Barnes.

On Saturday, Barnes, forward for the Memphis Grizzlies, allegedly drove 95 miles from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles to pay a visit to Knicks coach Derek Fisher, who is reportedly romantically involved with Barnes' estranged wife Gloria Govan.

When Barnes learned Fisher was at his former home with his former wife, he hopped in the car to “beat the sh*t” out of Fisher, The New York Post reported.

A source told the Post,

Barnes was in Santa Barbara [at Memphis Grizzlies training camp] and heard that Fisher was in his house. He went crazy. He got in his car and went to the house and went after Fisher.

The post further reported Fisher left the scene before police arrived. Fisher has yet to press charges against Barnes.

The NBA is planning to investigate the incident, according to Yahoo! Sports.
