It’s finally here. And by finally here, I mean almost gone. The 2013 MLB season was a long one, and for teams with no shot at the playoffs, it’s all coming to a winding end. The New York Mets will be celebrating an early offseason once again with a year that included the highs and lows of hosting the All-Star game in February and Matt Harvey’s losing his season due to injury.

But before it’s too late, many of the veterans on the team want to make sure that their rookies get sent off the right way. You know, before they’re not rookies anymore. The Mets official Twitter sent off a barrage of their guys doing something rather peculiar yesterday, definitely something worth mentioning.

While we thought we’ve seen it all in an MLB locker room, the Mets put the icing on top of the cake for another miserable season by having their rooks dress in drag – for a wedding, of course! Why not have a little fun at these young guys’ expense?

This is how you get people to never take you seriously.
