While Kobe Bryant’s return to the game after eight months of rehab didn’t exactly go according to plan, you’d be crazy to count him out now.

Sure, he’s 35 and has been playing at this high level of competition since he was 18, but there’s just something about Kobe that makes him different from any other superstar in the league.

Nike enlisted Ice Cube to narrate a new epic commercial highlighting Kobe’s return and it really puts into perspective what kind of legend he is.

The heart he shows every time he steps on to a court is something we can all admire, and his shoes are even better. Damn, Nike’s marketing actually works!
