According to reports, former Michigan State star Keith Appling was arrested and charged with multiple felonies after grabbing a loaded gun from his car in the parking lot of a Dearborn, Michigan strip club.

Appling, who is currently a member of the Orlando Magic's D-League affiliate, the Erie BayHawks, is reportedly charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a loaded gun and possession of marijuana.

The Detroit Free Press reports police were called to the block of the strip club and found Appling in the driver's seat of his vehicle. Appling allegedly had a handgun under his seat, some marijuana in the car and a loaded gun in his trunk.

The police reportedly responded to the scene at approximately 6:47 pm on Sunday evening.

Appling had a successful career with the Michigan State Spartans until a wrist injury stopped his senior season dead in the water. Appling went from being a potential first-round NBA draft pick in 2014 to an undrafted free agent.

Appling has made just five NBA appearances with the Magic this season, scoring six total points. He's reportedly earning $61,776 this year and has no guaranteed money coming to him next season.
