Well for all the LeBron haters who hate the name “King James”might want to look away at this  one. Yesterday it was unveiled that LeBron James is Sports Illustrated’s Sportsman of the Year and in the article about LeBron’s amazing 2012 year that included a Gold Medal, a NBA MVP, a Finals MVP, and finally a NBA title.

In some peoples’ eyes he can finally be called “King”, but what about what his GM Pat Riley calls LeBron? B.O.A.T. “Best Of All Time.” Its not clear how LeBron feels about the nick name as of yet, but we know his haters are going to eat this up.

Riley explained, “best of all time, an acronym he conjured to remind the planet’s preeminent player of frontiers still to be conquered.”

Let’s see how long this nick name takes to become a trending topic on Twitter, might be deserving though.

This time, we should know better. If there’s one thing sports has consistently taught us over the years, it’s that super teams do not work like magic. Recent history speaks for itself. When one door closes, another opens. Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. Despite that being what I’ve learned about life opportunities, I’m having trouble looking on the bright side of Russell Westbrook’s newly broken hand. When a particularly tricky brand of broken foot put Kevin Durant out of commission a few weeks ago, a […]

If Danny MacAskill wasn’t wearing a helmet, I’d think he was completely out of his mind, aside from being extremely brave. The professional cyclist of Scottish descent took part in a thrill seeking adventure along the Cuillin Ridge on the Isle of Skye with nothing but a helmet, a bike and his vast skill set of […]

Rick Rubin Returns To Dorm Room Where He Started Def Jam 30 Years Ago

If you don’t know who Rick Rubin is, he’s that weird-looking bearded dude from Jay Z’s “99 Problems” video. He’s also the man who started Def Jam Records back in 1984. Rubin started Def Jam in his NYU dorm room when he was still a college student. While working out of the dorm, he signed acts […]

Staff Sergeant Kelly Foster of Pearland, Texas served in Iraq to protect his community, and now, that same community is rewarding him.
