Patriots Fans Make Fun Of Torrey Smith’s Dead Brother On Twitter
Earlier this season Ravens receiver Torrey Smith lost his younger brother, Tevin, when he was killed in a horrific motorcycling accident in Virginia.
Later that same week, a devastated Torrey played what was perhaps the best game of his career with 127 receiving yards and two touchdowns in an emotional win over the Patriots. He had this to say after the game:
“It was tough. I didn’t know until 4 o’clock if I was going to play, I only had like an hour of sleep. Emotionally, I didn’t know how I was going to hold up.”
He showed tremendous heart by going out there and playing an admirable game in honor of his brother. Players from both teams lauded him for his courageousness, however, some Patriots fans didn’t seem to agree.
In fact some stupid cunt went as far as to go on Twitter and send him this disgraceful message after the game:
“Hey, Smith, how about you call your bro and tell him all about your win— Ohhhh. Wait. #TooSoon?”
Now, after Sunday’s Ravens’ win in the AFC Championship, these shitty and classless Patriots fans decided to remind Torrey Smith about his dead brother.
Smith tweeted this today:
