It seems Rajon Rondo knows how to make the best out of a bad situation. We all, of course, remember his altercation with Kris Humphries during a heated conference match up where he defended his teammate and was subsequently suspended two games.

But how exactly does a superstar franchise player spend their time off when they are banned? Following Tuesday’s practice, Rondo had this to say about his two-game absence:

“I went to Mexico, couple days, watched the games,” Rondo deadpanned in his first meeting with reporters since last Thursday. “It was cool.”

So I guess the Alter Ego image Quinci Dee posted recently was for real and Rondo was in Mexico playing hoops in disguise.  He seemingly also found time to pose for a picture with some of the locals.

A Healthy Derrick Rose’s Bulls Are Better Than LeBron James’ Cavs

This time, we should know better. If there’s one thing sports has consistently taught us over the years, it’s that super teams do not work like magic. Recent history speaks for itself. Gary Peyton and Karl Malone joining Shaq and Kobe didn’t hand the 2004 Lakers an NBA title. Acquiring an ungodly amount of talent, headlined by […]

Russell Westbrook’s Broken Hand Will Certainly Not Help OKC’s Season

When one door closes, another opens. Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. Despite that being what I’ve learned about life opportunities, I’m having trouble looking on the bright side of Russell Westbrook’s newly broken hand. When a particularly tricky brand of broken foot put Kevin Durant out of commission a few weeks ago, a […]

How My Mother’s Battle Against Breast Cancer Changed My Perspective On Life

I learned the hard way that the time to change your life isn’t when something bad happens to you, it’s before. As a result, I know what rock bottom feels like. I was once paralyzed from the neck down for close to four months. It was quite arguably the most humbling experience I’ve ever experienced […]

I Am The Girl Who Married Myself And I Have A Pretty Good Reason Why

“Jessica, you may be addicted to love,” said my therapist on a gloomy San Francisco afternoon, interrupting my sobbing over another heartbreak. “Wait, you mean with that Florence and The Machine song?” I laughed nervously, staring at the knockoff Persian carpet, looking to escape in its dense garden. My therapist gently assured me: You are seeking the […]

Cop In Mexico Busts Out Michael Jackson Moves While Directing Traffic (Video)

This is one cop it’s impossible to be intimidated by. Jose Ruben Echeverria, a traffic officer in Tijuana, Mexico, proves that policemen can be cool. While on duty, the confident cop dances in the street to Michael Jackson hits, showing off his version of the King of Pop’s famous moves. He says he dances while […]

Hilarious Video Shows The Struggle Of A Black Sushi Chef

Despite our best efforts to get rid of racism and discrimination once and for all, there are certain stereotypes that remain fairly pervasive in modern society. I’m not one of those “stereotypes exist for a reason” people, but (there’s always a “but” after that opening) you probably wouldn’t be morally indigent to suggest that the […]

Young Love: How Falling In Love In College Can Teach You How To Open Up

I cannot tell you how many articles I have read encouraging young men and women to stay single in college, stating that they’ll regret getting into a relationship during their “glory years.” Don’t get me wrong; there is absolutely no problem with being single in college. What better time to meet other single people who […]
