Were The Redskins Pumping Artificial Crowd Noise Into The Stadium Yesterday?
The Redskins fans at yesterday’s game seemed louder than usual, even to many of the fans in attendance. This could have been for 2 reasons.
One, because a lot was on the line, or two because there was artificial noise being pumped through the stadium.
DC sports blogger Dan Steinberg has received a number of tweets from Redskins fans claiming that they heard fake noise coming from the FedExField PA system at yesterday’s NFC Wild Card game.
These tweets mostly came from fans who were sitting in the upper levels of the stadium by the speakers. They said they could tell there was noise coming through when it continued to play after the crowd stopped cheering on several occasions.
Maybe the home field was just looking for another way to distract the Seahawks from capitalizing on RGIII’s shitty performance. Let this be a lesson to all teams that no matter how loud the stadium is, nothing can stop the better team from winning.
