Reports have surfaced today that during 2013 NBA All-Star game in Houston, Western conference coach Gregg Popovich cursed out Dwight Howard during a timeout.

Apparently Gregg splattered Dwight with “a few f-bombs” after Dwight messed up a play, which is hard to do in an all-star game.

Stephen A. Smith revealed more details on ESPN radio:

Then this past weekend, at All-Star weekend – I haven’t’ seen anyone report it, so I guess I’ll be the first.

Coach Gregg Popovich dropped a few f-bombs in Dwight Howard’s direction, during All-Star break. Now why is that guys? Because during the timeout, Gregg Popvich drew up a play for Dwight Howard, in the game…except when it was time to run the play, Dwight Howard wasn’t in the game, wasn’t paying attention, was on the bench in his warm ups chillin out socializing with folks, and Gregg Popvich almost went ballistic, and basically was cussing at him according to numerous people I spoke to since this weekend.

So, all of that speaks to the focus, or lack there of, that the Kobe Bryant’s and others have alluded to with their comments over the last few months. You can’t have something like that. It’s an All-Star game and you have Gregg Popovich upset at you.

It seems like everybody hates Dwight these days as he can never seem to do anything right. I guess it’s safe to say that San Antonio is no longer a potential landing spot in a trade for Mr. Howard either.

A Healthy Derrick Rose’s Bulls Are Better Than LeBron James’ Cavs

This time, we should know better. If there’s one thing sports has consistently taught us over the years, it’s that super teams do not work like magic. Recent history speaks for itself. Gary Peyton and Karl Malone joining Shaq and Kobe didn’t hand the 2004 Lakers an NBA title. Acquiring an ungodly amount of talent, headlined by […]

Russell Westbrook’s Broken Hand Will Certainly Not Help OKC’s Season

When one door closes, another opens. Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. Despite that being what I’ve learned about life opportunities, I’m having trouble looking on the bright side of Russell Westbrook’s newly broken hand. When a particularly tricky brand of broken foot put Kevin Durant out of commission a few weeks ago, a […]

4 Reasons To Keep The Faith That This Season Of ‘Homeland’ Won’t Suck

Okay, okay, so “Homeland” was truly awful for the entire third season (and if we’re being honest, for most of the second season, too). But, to the delight of entertainment masochists who had yet to give up on the CIA drama, “Homeland’s” season four premiere offered some painstakingly overdue promise. The main reason the premiere […]

Dallas Man’s Ebola-Themed Halloween Decorations Are Actually Scary

Is there anything scarier right now than Ebola? Probably not, which is why it makes for a particularly frightening source of inspiration for Halloween decorations. At least, that’s the thinking behind James Faulk’s decision to decorate his house like an Ebola quarantine zone. Faulk lives in the University Park neighborhood of Dallas, which has been […]

Here’s a short list of things science says might make you fat: sitting, the Western diet, sleeping too much, sleeping too little and, the newest edition, charging smartphones. The Power Of Technology: Doctors Use 3D-Printed Heart To Save Toddler’s Life

An infant born with congenital heart defects is in good health thanks to a 3D-printed heart. Doctors at New York’s Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital used technology to save the sick 2-year-old during a July surgery. Before the procedure, the team printed a copy of the baby’s complicated heart and used the plastic model to plan […]

Well, Duh: Why Sarcastic People Are Actually Proven To Be Smarter

If I had a nickel for every time I’ve been called a “smart ass” over my 22 years of existence, I’d probably be sipping montrachet off the coast of Saint-Tropez right now, instead of writing this piece. That title never really offended me, though; I’m a sarcastic piece of sh*t, I say it proudly [cue […]
