Jets fans will be happy to learn that Tim Tebow will not be released before the NFL’s new year in March. According to ESPN, the Jets will at least use his value to gain something for their team by trading him in the not so distant future.
One NFL general manager told ESPN.com this week: “I think his career is over without playing another position.”
However, the only team that displayed an above average amount of interest in Tebow was the Jacksonville Jaguars, and they have apparently changed their mind on the idea of acquiring him.
This report claims that the Jets will be looking for a mid-round or late-round draft pick in exchange for Tim Tebow.
Good to know there is still some hope that one of the biggest blunders in Jets history could possibly be used towards their advantage in the form of a trade.
