Report: Rajon Rondo Tore His ACL, Done For Season
Rajon Rondo was a late scratch for Sunday’s nationally televised home game against the Miami Heat.
While the return of Ray Allen was the big story heading into this one, news about the extent of Rondo’s injury, if it turns out to be true, is what will end up dominating the headlines.
From Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald:
Celtics source says Rondo may have torn ACL – getting MRI for it now at New England Baptist.

Rondo originally suffered the injury during Friday’s crushing loss to the Hawks, which was diagnosed as a hyperextended right knee according to A. Sherrod Blakely of CSN New England.
