Report: Tim Tebow Not Likely To Make Patriots Roster
When will life ever get easy for Tim Tebow? He is a man of faith, dedication and integrity, yet he can never seem to catch a single break. Sure the New England Patriots have given him a chance in the offseason workouts, but now reports have surfaced that he is not even likely to make the cut.
According to Mike Rodak of ESPNBoston.com, Tebow has about a 25% chance of making the 53-man roster. Even though most of the team’s offseason focus has been centered around the whole Aaron Hernandez saga, another subplot has been playing out during workouts and practices.
While fan speculation is that Tebow could be a good fit at tight end opposite Rob Gronkowski, it appears that Tebow is set on being a quarterback where ever he goes.
With about two weeks left to go until official camp starts, things aren’t looking good for Tim, even with the departure of Hernandez. While he may not be impressing in workouts, it’s his on-the-field prowess that coaches should be looking at.
Until then, the Patriots are now welcoming any and all questions the media may have about Tim Tebow. We should get some good bits from this.
Right about now, the Patriots would welcome all the Tim Tebow questions reporters have.
