Rex Ryan’s Tattoo Is Real, Says He Will Change The Number If Mark Sanchez Doesn’t Improve

Jets head coach Rex Ryan and owner Woody Johnson just held their mandatory press conference. While most of the questions covered the team’s philosophy and future plans, one reporter asked a question that everyone was dying to have answered: What about that tattoo featuring Rex’s wife wearing Sanchez’s Jersey?

Ryan answered: “I know what you’re thinking: If Sanchez doesn’t play better, that number’s changing. That’s pretty much a given. I’ve been married 25 years, and in my eyes my wife is the most beautiful woman in the world.”

So unless Mark Sanchez somehow learns to play football before next season, Rex Ryan will be changing that number.
