Just a half a year removed from his devastating ACL and LCL injury in the first round of the NFL playoffs, Robert Griffin III is already hard at work with his team and working towards starting on opening day.
Team doctor Dr. Andrews has already called RGIII a freak of nature when it comes to physical and recovery ability, but now he is really starting to scare us. At a recent practice, some random white dude was able to Vine a video of the star QB doing some high-intensity sprints. Check out the clip below.
This is nothing short of extraordinary as we are truly witnessing some greatness right here. It’s not normal to be back this soon from an injury as severe as the one he suffered. But thanks to his freakish genetics and top-tier rehab process, he should be good to go for the season opener.
The only question that remains: will there be any lingering effects? While he can surely run in a straight line at top speeds, will he be able to shake defenders, break tackles, and oh yeah… throw?
These are all questions that have yet to be determined. However, all truth will be exposed on September 9 when they take on the new-look Eagles. There is no way RGIII is missing that game. Is there any way a player can win Rookie of the Year two years in a row? We’ll have to wait to find out.
