Spike Lee Schools Pablo Prigioni On What Sneakers He Should Wear [Video]

US movie director and New York Knicks super fan, Spike Lee, visited a team’s practice at the Madison Square Garden in Manhattan and taught Argentine point-guard Pablo Prigioni that no Knickerbocker can ever wear purple as it’s Lakers’ identifying color.

In a funny and relaxed dialogue, Lee is joined by Amare Stoudamire after realizing Prigioni is wearing some purple and yellow shoes.

“You can’t wear purple, man!”, Lee told Prigioni who trie to explain he stil; wearing those old models as new ones seem to hurt his toes.

“Alright, alright. Just wear them for practice”, Lee insisted and command Prigioni to get something in blue reminding him that’s not only Knick’s main color but also Argentina’s.
