In honor of UFC 160 on Saturday, we have decided to divulge some of the greatest knockouts to have ever gone down in the octagon. But these aren’t just any kind of knockouts. I’m talking about the gut-wrenching, high-flying and reckless beat downs that we see every time we watch a UFC event.

From spinning heel kicks to some good old-fashioned ground and pound, one thing is for certain every time you tune in — someone is getting their sh*t pushed in.

And as heavyweight champion, Cain Velasquez prepares to defend his title against Antonio Silva, we can only hope for the best. And by best we mean worst. You see, unlike boxing there are actually spectacular finishes in MMA.

You won’t see two guys dancing around each other for an hour, but instead a few minutes of high-intensity, no holds bar fighting. Need a reminder? Check out the 15 greatest knockouts in UFC history.

Why Trick Plays Could Make A Comeback In The NFL

The St. Louis Rams came into week seven with nothing to lose. Having lost four of their first five games of the season, they were already in last place in the NFC West. And they were facing a difficult matchup against their division rivals, defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. As such, it makes sense […]

QB Does The Impossible And Throws 47-Yard TD Pass To Himself (Video)

If you want something done right, you’ve gotta do it yourself. Or so the saying goes. If Nelson Hughes’ touchdown is any indication, the North Greensville University quarterback took that old adage to heart when he returned a pass from himself 47 yards into the endzone. The impressive score occurred during a game between NGU […]

14 Mind-Blowing Stats To Make You Appreciate Peyton Manning Even More

One of the greatest living legends of all time, Peyton Manning, set a new NFL scoring record: 510 passing touchdowns. While we’ve always known Peyton is an elite quarterback, and arguably the best player of the past decade, we couldn’t really begin to appreciate it until last night, when he hit the impressive milestone previously […]

Here’s Why The ‘Triangle Offense’ Is A Big Deal For The Knicks This Year

The words “Triangle Offense” truly deserve their place in between these quotation marks. After all, when you think about it, we don’t only use them to simply reference other people’s quotes. We often use quotation marks, especially in finger-motioning form, to point out titles that, despite technically being factual, seem to exaggerate the importance or […]

An Ode To The Awkward Girl Who Shys From Embracing Her Uniqueness

I should preface this with the fact that I spilled wine on my sheets as I casually tried to write in bed. Clearly, I’m qualified to write on this subject. We girls — the awkward ones, the not-so-perfect ones, the I-trip-barefoot ones — must band together. After all, there is so much more to gain from […]

Spiritual Income: Why You Should Never Settle For Just A Paycheck

If you’re anything at all like me, the fear of one day having a mundane office job that doesn’t fuel your creative spirit or unique capabilities worries you to a point of no end. Rightfully so, you feel the need to receive a paycheck. The bills won’t pay themselves, after all. But, when did you […]

Woman Reports Sexual Harassment And Ends Up Getting Fired

Sexual harassment isn’t something to let slide. The US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has filed a lawsuit against Daimler Trucks North America, claiming the automotive manufacturer fired a female employee just days after she filed a sexual harassment claim. April Holt worked on the assembly line at Daimler’s Mount Holly, North Carolina factory. On December […]

College Kid Takes Falling Asleep In Class To The Next Level (Photo)

One of the things I learned far too late in my college career is that simply going to class isn’t enough to make you the learned scholar higher education is supposed to mold you into. If you’re going to put in the effort to attend, you might as well pay attention — you might even […]

5 Ways Working On Disaster Relief Changed My Life Forever

On May 20, 2013, an EF5 Tornado scorched a 17-mile path through a heavily populated section of Moore, Oklahoma. Twenty-five people lost their lives, almost 400 more were injured and countless homes incurred major structural damage. The almost 2-mile radius of the twister meant that along all 17 of those miles, everything you could see […]
