The 25 Biggest Fails From The 2014 Winter Olympics In Sochi

by Julian Sonny

After two long weeks in Sochi, the 2014 Winter Olympics have finally concluded and all we have to say is "Thank God!"

While there were some memorable moments over the past couple of weeks, like when USA Men's Hockey beat Russia, or the Jamaican Bobsled team's epic run at gold (plus this awesome music video), none of that makes up for the amount of ratchet behavior that took place in the motherland.

Despite spending more money than every past Winter Olympics combined, Russia gave its athletes an experience unlike anything we've ever seen, with extremely dangerous courses and an Olympic village that was lacking, to put it lightly.

The hazard that every Olympian faced made the stakes that much higher and that's what really made these games so interesting. As long as nobody (reportedly) died, I'd say it was a success! Still, here are the biggest fails of the 2014 Olympic Games.

Preface: Russia spent a record $51 billion on this sh*t:

Things got off to a shaky start when one of the rings didn't go off:

Things got better when the torch was lit...

...Until we found out the woman who lit the torch also tweeted this

Equipment was faulty from the jump:

Athletes weren't taking things too seriously, either:

...Probably because they were all too busy f*cking each other...

…Or because they were drinking this out of the faucet:

Then pissing here to drain it:

These mandatory rules suggest you better sit down when you pee:

Let's not even talk about the food:

This is what the Internet looks like in Sochi:

Bob Costas' eyes were on one:

Even Shaun White got messed up:

Bobsledder Johnny Quinn had to break the door to get out of the bathroom:

...Then he got stuck in the elevator the next day:

No one is going to believe this but we just got stuck in an elevator. Ask @BOBSLEDR and @Crippsee who were there... pic.twitter.com/Rwg57CBbUU — Johnny Quinn (@JohnnyQuinnUSA) February 10, 2014

This really happened...

The Brazilian Women's Bobsled team got a little too much air on this one:

Then people really started getting hurt:

Ouch!

He's still sliding down the hill as we speak:

This guy deserved it:

This guy is still my hero: Of course this happened during the closing ceremony: At the end of the day, Putin isn't very happy:
