UNC Basketball Coach's Will Shows He Left $200 To Each Player He Coached

Last month, former UNC basketball coach Dean Smith passed away.

Today, we discovered that in his will, Smith left $200 to every varsity player he ever coached.

ESPN’s Darren Rovell says Smith bequeathed almost $40,000 in about 180 checks.

According to the trustee of the Dean E. Smith revocable trust, each $200 check was to be sent with this message:
