USC Football Players Get Into Huge Fight With Each Other After Terrible Season

USC’s football season quickly spiraled out of control this year. After beginning the season as the preseason No. 1 and favorite to win the National Championship, the Trojans finished up with a 7-6 record, including a 21-7 loss in the Sun Bowl to Georgia Tech.

Matt Barkley didn’t even play in that final game as his team got stomped in the final game of his college career.

Head coach Lane Kiffin took a lot of heat for USC’s collapse. His constant antics – from press conference bolting to fashionably late dinner appearances to pulling scholarships – have worn down his welcome and have plenty of people calling for his head.

Now coming to light is another incident post-Sun Bowl – Lane Kiffin hates the sun – in which 10-15 players brawled in the locker room after the game ended. The Los Angeles Daily Newshas the scoop:

“The incident started when some freshmen questioned the leadership of the team’s seniors and whether they gave 100 percent effort for the Sun Bowl. This led to an argument that eventually escalated according to witnesses.

‘It was one of the worst things I’ve seen in a locker room,’ said a player who did not wish to be identified.”

Even though Lane Kiffin hasn’t been fired, we’ve got a candidate that USC may want to look at.
