Poor Chad Johnson. The once adored star receiver (formerly known as Ochocinco) has taken a sudden fall from grace ever since dropping his productivity on the field. And then there was that whole headbutting incident with ex-wife Evelyn Lozada, but we’re not going to get into all of that.

His last stint in the league was a pathetic one with one of the NFL’s best, Tom Brady. Chad somehow managed to never catch on in one of the most pass-happy offenses in the league with the New England Patriots. And then he infamously went on to sign with the Miami Dolphins, where he was cut during training camp for his domestic violence charge.

This brought him into a world full of troubles in which he was tried for assault, let off, then eventually served a 30-day jail sentence for slapping his lawyer’s ass. It doesn’t get much more bizarre than that.

But with all that behind him, Johnson still looks to make a return to the gridiron. He is training as furiously as ever and hoping that some NFL GM out there will give him another chance. Just check out this video of the former star running an astounding 24 miles per hour on a treadmill. An impressive feat for any athlete of any sport.

Hopefully, this can somehow translate to the field and he can finish his career on a high note. Just don’t go to New York and join Rex Ryan and company. That’s the last thing you want to do with your career.

5 Things I’ve Learned About My Life And Career From My First Post-Grad Job

It’s pretty difficult to anticipate work life before actually graduating. After four years of printed syllabi and having all your work cut out and assigned to you, the notion of being thrust onto a blank canvas, without numbers that correspond to colors, can be extremely overwhelming. Even for those who excelled in undergrad, the habits […]

Why You Don’t Need To Share Every Aspect Of Your Life With The World

I tend to be pretty set in my own ways. Okay, fine, that’s just my way to explain that I’m somewhat of a stubborn assh*le when it comes to certain things. But, it makes me feel better to know that I’m just a product of my environment. I don’t have to feel as bad about […]
