Michael Jordan. The greatest of all time. Six NBA championships, five MVP honors and the hottest sneakers in the game. He’s been killing it for almost thirty years now as his brand is undeniably the best in basketball.

Throughout his playing career and life as a businessman, there hasn’t been much that scares him. He’s seen and been through it all, and there is no one who can handle the pressure and adversity like he does. That’s why he’s one of the greatest champions of all time.

He was one of the best all around players, boasting supreme defense, clutch shooting ability and, most importantly, that leadership trait. Back in the 80s and 90s there weren’t many other players who could challenge him.

Sure there was other impressive talent, but no one came close to Jordan’s level. Well except for one man that is. And he wan’t even in the NBA.  How about American country music legend Kenny Rogers. That’s right, the Grammy award-winning artist, who is now 74-years-old, was able to get the best of MJ back in 1988 during a charity game.

Just peep this single highlight of Mr. Rogers pump faking the sh*t out of Michael, getting him to soar up for the swat, then draining the easy bucket. You could see by the expression on his face afterwards that he was basically saying, “SUCK MY D*CK!” Okay probably not, but check it out below.

Now that’s what we call fundamentals. Not only did he completely gas the younger Jordan, but he finished the deed and hit the open shot. That’s much better than what most of his opponents were able to get away with during the time. Props to Kenny.

Also make sure to check out more highlights from the game. I can’t believe the superstars from back in the day used to play so competitively against celebrities and other regular people.

Aside from that one mental error, Michael Jordan sonned everyone on the court. Dominique Wilkins and Larry Bird also provided some nice highlights, but it’s amazing to see that even during a charity game, MJ is going hard in the paint. Now that’s why he’s the greatest of all time.
