We’re all still feeling the seismic reactions from Jadeveon Clowney’s hit on Michigan’s Vincent Smith in this week’s Outback Bowl.
But apparently the damage was worse than we thought, as Clowney demolished the entire state of Michigan … at least, according to Wikipedia.
Clowney’s page temporarily read, “In the Outback Bowl, Clowney obliterated the entire state of Michigan when he hit Wolverines’ running back Vincent Smith and forced a fumble.
There are now only 49 states in the United States and Roger Goodell has suspended Clowney for the first game of his NFL career.”
That’s silly, of course; Clowney would be suspended at least four games for that hit. And since Wikipedia is not in the business of satire, the passage was swiftly removed.
Still, we haven’t heard much from Michigan since that hit. Someone want to confirm it’s still in place?
