Wrestling To Be Dropped From 2020 Olympics

The Olympics is the pinnacle of sports competition as countries compete for pride and glory, but we must admit that some of the games are a bit outdated.

In fact some of them are straight up retarded. There is no way that rhythmic gymnastics should be considered a sport and what the hell is the point of curling? And nothing on this world is worst than race walking. Come on!

The International Olympic Committee has made an attempt over the years to cater to new and better sports. They have been doing a shitty job. How isn’t rugby, MMA or even American football an Olympic sport yet? Bullshit!

And now it has been reported by the Los Angeles Times that the committee is officially dropping wrestling from the 2020 games.

This move literally makes no sense. Wrestling is one of the oldest sports in the Olympics after beginning competition during the 1896 Games in Athens, and unlike curling, it requires physical strength and athletic ability.

IOC spokesman Mark Adams had this to say about the change.

“This is a process of renewing and renovating the program for the Olympics,”

“In the view of the executive board, this was the best program for the Olympic Games in 2020. It’s not a case of what’s wrong with wrestling, it is what’s right with the 25 core sports.”

The decision was based on three dozen criteria which included such factors as television ratings, ticket sales, anti-doping policy and global popularity.

I guess we’ll just see how this works out. There is going to be a lot of angry wrestlers out there as well as an influx of steroid use and shriveled balls.

The Best Dressed Ladies At The 2013 Billboard Music Awards

Music award shows typically do not have the most well dressed attendees. I guess it has something to do with the quirkiness and creativity of musicians and musicians’ red-carpet looks (in Billboard’s case, a blue carpet) are always eclectic, to say the least. Throw in the fact that the Billboard Music Awards are not the [...]

Poor Kim Kardashian. Right after she gained acceptance (or so it seems) by the Vogue community, the magazine went ahead and snubbed her in a major way.
