Zach Randolph is 6’9’’, 260 lbs., and has to face the best and toughest basketball players in the world on a near nightly basis. He’s also afraid of cats.

And we’re not talking about the “Uh, I’d rather not have them near me” type of fear. ESPN Magazine’s Sam Alipour wrote, “…when he’s walking the streets of Memphis and a cat just so happens to cross his path, Mr. Randolph, one of the baddest dudes in the NBA, darn near runs for his life.” It’s that real.

Z-Bo explained himself by saying, “You can’t be both a dog lover and a cat lover. I’ve got a crazy phobia about cats. For some reason, I’m always thinking they’re going to scratch me. If a cat walks up, I’m going, “Oh no, this dude about to scratch me-I know it!”

Cats scare the hell out of me. I love animals, but I’m no cat lover. Guys usually aren’t.” True, except not liking cats and being outright scared of them are two different things.

This revelation brings up one question: What type of hell is Randolph going through when he’s facing the Charlotte Bobcats?

A Healthy Derrick Rose’s Bulls Are Better Than LeBron James’ Cavs

This time, we should know better. If there’s one thing sports has consistently taught us over the years, it’s that super teams do not work like magic. Recent history speaks for itself. Gary Peyton and Karl Malone joining Shaq and Kobe didn’t hand the 2004 Lakers an NBA title. Acquiring an ungodly amount of talent, headlined by […]

Russell Westbrook’s Broken Hand Will Certainly Not Help OKC’s Season

When one door closes, another opens. Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. When a particularly tricky brand of broken foot put Kevin Durant out of commission a few weeks ago, a […]

Daredevil Jumps 6,000 Feet From A Hot Air Balloon Just Because (Video)

There’s something unsettling about seeing the words “wingsuit,” “daredevil” and “jump” in the same sentence. That’s most likely because every time they’re mentioned, something absolutely insane happens — you can count on it! In a recent video uploaded to YouTube by GoPro, we’re introduced to a daredevil named Matthew Barrientos. The reason we call him a […]

Shy And Successful: 11 Reasons Why The Introvert Has The Edge

Sure, you might not have been the life of the party in high school. Maybe you’ve always waited for some girl to give you a wink, or at least a smile first, before introducing yourself.
