Company Will Pay You To Drink Beer And Travel The World, So Pack Your Koozie
Do you like to travel? Do you enjoy drinking beer?
Would you like to combine these two amazing activities into one gigantic adventure that you also get paid for?
Well, you're in luck!
World of Beer, a national chain of taverns, wants to pay three interns to travel and drink beer this summer.
No, this is not FAKE NEWS. This is totally real life.
Just to be clear: The job involves more than just traveling and drinking.
World Of Beer also wants you to blog, take photos, stream live video, tweet and post on Facebook and Instagram.
So, there is work. But given that World Of Beer basically just wants you to reflect on traveling and drinking beer while also getting money, that seems like a fair pay-off.
The job description says,
It's the beer opportunity of a lifetime…
Want to spend your summer traveling the country, hanging out at WOB, drinking beer, meeting brewers and diving into beer culture? We're recruiting three Drink it Interns to hit the road this summer and search out the best craft beer and food out there.
We want you to show the world the beer communities that make up the fabric of cities that WOB call home!
We'll send you to WOBs across the country and internationally to capture the best beer and “beer people” stories and document them.
Long story short, this is an ideal gig for people who love travel and beer, but are also great storytellers.
The job pays $12,000 for four months of work, and all travel is covered.
If you're interested in applying, you need to make sure you have all of your application materials in by March 26.
The application involves an online form, and they also want you to send in a one-minute video explaining why you'd be good for the job. So, it definitely helps to be outgoing if you want to land this dream internship.
Those who make it to the second round will be asked to do an in-person interview. Eventually, three very lucky individuals will be sent to go on this epic, beer-infused adventure.
