Here's How Your Name Can Predict Your Entire Personality

Numerology is a spiritual tool that can aid us in our understanding of ourselves and others, much like astrology, the Myers-Briggs test and the study of introversion and extroversion.

According to numerology, the numerical value of your name can influence everything from your personal relationships to your own professional development.

What Your Handwriting Can Reveal About The Way You Fall In Love

But first, you have to know how it works.

The following step-by-step guide will help you discover the numerical value of your name, the meaning behind that number and the key to your future.

Step one: assigning numbers to the letters in your name

Write your name on a sheet of paper, and use the guide below to reference the number that corresponds to each letter.

You'll notice that multiple letters may have the same numerical value. For instance, the letters “A” “J” and “S” are all represented by the number 1.

This is because the study of numerology only uses numbers 1 to 9.

Write the numerical value of each letter underneath the letters in your name, and be sure the full name that was given to you at birth.

Once you have everything written out, get ready for your next step.

Step 2: add the sum of the numbers and then reduce sum to a single digit

Grab a pen and paper, or a calculator if you hate math, and add each individual number in your name together.

You should end up with a two-digit sum after adding everything together.

When you have the total sum of the individual numbers in your name, take that number and reduce it to a single digit by adding the individual numbers of the sum together.

That single digit sum is your personal numerology number!

So, my numerology number is 3.

Step 3: the meaning of your number

Now for the fun part: looking up the meaning of your number.

Numerology also views 11, 22 and 33 as “master numbers.” So, if you add up the numbers of your name and reach 11, 22 or 33, you can leave them as so without reducing to a single digit.

While there are slight differences in the interpretation of each basic number in numerology, the general theme of every number is as follows:
