7 Ways To Stay Happy If You're Having A Really Bad Day Like Taylor Swift

It seems like Taylor Swift is having a string of bad days. In the last week alone, she's been outed by Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, she's been feuding over song credits with Calvin Harris and she's still in the beginning of her new relationship with Tom Hiddleston.

All this drama is just turning into a big, sloppy, star-studded mess. And this pop star just can't catch a break.

We've all had bad days like T-Swift. They suck. So, as a loyal Taylor Swift fan, I'm going to offer some of the best advice on how to turn a bad day around.

1. Eat some dark chocolate and drink red wine.

Dark chocolate and red wine happen to be a cure for the blues. Plus, they're both delicious. But there's a science-backed reason they work. Red wine and dark chocolate contain resveratrol, which produces serotonin and endorphins.

This pick-me-up will not only bring you comfort during a bad day, but it will also literally put you in a better mood. Just don't overdo the chocolate and wine, or else you'll have another problem on your hands.

2. Lean on your friends for support.

Maybe you have some bad blood with people, but when you have a bad day, you know who your real friends are. They're the ones who will come to you in the middle of the night if they have to.

Selena Gomez actually did just that for Taylor late Sunday night on Twitter, when all this Kimye drama was going down. Knowing you have solid friends who are there for you will instantly make you feel better.

3. Distract yourself with the stuff you love doing.

When all else fails, do the stuff you love during a bad day. Take a break from work, and get off social media so you don't have to engage with the haters.

Give yourself the gift of time for doing what you love, which for Taylor, I assume, means playing with her cats and baking cookies with her celeb BFFs.

4. Meditate, or just find a quiet space to chill.

Meditation might be too "woo-woo" for you, but chilling out in a quiet space can also bring you the peace you need. I know it might be hard for Taylor to find the time and space between crushing it as a musician and dealing with annoying celebrity feuds, but apparently, just two minutes can do the trick.

Why will this help? Well, meditation is proven to beat a bad day. It helps you think more rationally, be calmer and communicate better. So, the more time you take to chill out, the better you'll be able to handle any stress that comes your way, even if it isn't Kimye-related.

5. Sweat the bad vibes out.

Exercise is the best way to get some happy hormones pumping in your blood. You don't have to go HAM at the gym to get your endorphin fix, either. You can just take a quick walk, swim, jog, dance session, whatever you want.

Or you can just throw on some boxing gloves, tape a picture of Kanye's face to a punching bag and give it hell. Just get sweating and we promise, it will help.

6. Think about the big picture.

This probably sounds weird, but bad days are all in our heads. You have to put your bad day in perspective. When you're feeling down, just remember everything you've accomplished. Like for Taylor, she can take comfort in the fact that she made the most amount of money out of any celebrity in 2016. Yeah.

Ask yourself, will this matter in a month? During bad days, it's important to be grateful for what we do have instead of harping on what's wrong. Taylor can focus on her health, family and adorable cats.

Also, let's be real, all of this is going to blow over in a week or two and then we'll all be talking about someone else.

7. Shake it off.

Lastly, take advice from T-Swift herself. Like she said, "The haters gonna hate. The players gonna play. The fakers gonna fake."

You've just got to shake it off and move on.

And Taylor, keep dominating the music industry with your addicting albums.
