Eat More Yogurt

by Ally Batista

Yogurt has been a health food snack favorite (even breakfast favorite) for some time now, obviously. Now, it has been proven that yogurt can actually improve your health, instead of just supplementing it.

According to researchers at Tufts University, people who eat yogurt are in fact healthier as a whole. The study consisted of researchers asking 6,500 participants to fill out a survey that gauged their yogurt consumption and what they eat throughout the course of the day.

According to the surveys, 58% of those tested reported that their diet was filled with other healthy foods, if they consumed at least one yogurt per week. Yogurt eaters also had higher levels of calcium, magnesium and vitamin B12.

So, let’s all try to add a yogurt a week to our diet, shall we?
