We all have our favorite means of exercise, and for millions of women everywhere, yoga has maintained its position at the top of the list of "favorite physical activities."

It turns out this could be for a reason. A recent study has suggested that yoga does in fact have a positive effect on your mind and body.

Researchers analyzed a group of adults for about two months. These adults had claimed that they had been sleeping poorly. The researchers had some of the volunteers practice yoga and the others to continue their normal routines.

It turns out that those who did yoga at least once a week were happier and able to sleep better. Apparently, yoga does in fact improve your overall health by making you more balanced.

Yoga can teach you how to relax, lower your stress level, make you more flexible and of course, tone you up.

I love when things actually live up to the hype.
