Are Women Better Than Men In Bed?

Don’t you love men vs. women debates? Once again, not a feminist here, but I’ve always been a fan of the “Anything you can do I can do better game.” That of course is attributed to my stubbornness, my competitiveness and my overall obnoxious nature, but this is beside the point.

The point is, who is better in bed? Most logical people, including myself, would think that this debate is irrelevant. Some people may be good in bed, others may not be, but I don’t think that this has anything to do with what your sex is.

America, however, feels differently. The dating side LoveAgain.com interviewed more than 18,000 people across the Unites States to get to the bottom of those sex questions that plague the minds of Americans everywhere.

This study found a multitude of results, and I think they’re all amusing. According to this survey, half of the women questioned were more confident with themselves in the bedroom and currently satisfied with their sex lives, while the men were much less self-assured or fulfilled in the bedroom. Go ladies!

Here are some other fun finds from LoveAgain.com:

-Apparently 16 percent of men and women have sex at least once a week… and are more likely to get it on on Saturday than any other day of the week.

-Men and women in the West have the highest sex drives in the nation. 52 percent of respondents said they had a high sex drive, compared with the national average of 49 percent.

-Although they’ve got high sex drives, quantity does not equate with quality: Men from the West are the least satisfied in the entire country, rating their sex lives at 32 percent compared with the national average of 36 percent.

-Sorry guys and gals, but if you’re from the Midwest you're having less sex than anyone else in the U.S.: Only 11 percent of respondents say they have sex at least once a week (and they're more likely to choose Sunday Funday than anyone else).

-Women from the Southwest have a higher opinion of themselves in the bedroom than anyone else (67 percent) and Texas men are the proudest of the size of their package (67 percent). OK, something is clearly in the water over there, and I want some.

-Men and women from the Northeast have the lowest sex drives than anyone else at 43 percent (women scored only 34.5 percent, eek!) but have the most sex in the U.S. (huh?) with 25 percent having sex at least once a week. Going through the motions, I suppose...

-Men and women from the Southeast are more likely to rate themselves as better in bed than their partners, with 46 percent of men and 39 percent of women claiming they outperform their other halves. Because the only thing better than having a mutually great experience is winning at sex?

Do you agree with any of these finds?
