This Beauty Vlogger With A Facial Tumor Will Inspire You To Love Yourself

I'm the first to admit that I have a hard time being comfortable in front of a camera.

But when I saw this 21-year-old beauty vlogger, Marimar Quiroa, I was naturally inspired.

Quiroa was born with cystic hygroma, but that doesn't stop her from being a makeup and beauty expert and sharing her expertise with the internet.

The tumor on her face is caused by blockages in the lymphatic system, creating a fluid-filled sac. Due to her condition, she can't speak, breathe or eat normally.

She communicates with sign language and eats from a tube in her stomach.

Despite all of that, she's inspiring her millions of viewers every week, showing us how far self-love and acceptance can take you. Plus, she teaches Zumba and is in her first year of beauty school.

Her disability doesn't stop her from much. In a video on Barcroft TV, Quiroa explains what beauty means to her.

To me, beauty means to accept yourself for who you are, and to ignore what other people tell you; you show your beauty how it is ... it doesn't matter if you have a different-looking face. Accept yourself who you are.

It's powerful to hear that, coming from someone who lives with a medical condition that undoubtedly make her life difficult. But she chooses to not let it get in the way of her dreams.

In the video, Quiroa talks about how she had several surgeries to shrink her mouth and face to how we see it today. She used to talk to herself in the mirror and tell herself she was beautiful, as well as listing the things she loved about herself.

I think that's something we should all put into practice.

Self-love is more powerful than comments and likes on social media.

Quiroa receives a lot of support from her fans in the comments on her videos. But she deals with haters online and in person, as well.

The vlogger has learned to ignore the negative comments, and she handles people who stare at her by staring right back at them.

We can't wait to see more from this inspiring beauty vlogger! You can check out her channel here.
