Date Night Make Up

We all want to make a memorable impression on a first date, and our appearance can be a big determining factor. If you’re wondering what kind of make up to pair with your casual outfit or your strapless LBD, these tips will allow you to make a lasting impression on your date.

No matter your outfit, always opt for a sultry and romantic make up look.

Keep The Skin Fresh

Don’t overdo your foundation: apply a tinted moisturizer or a lightweight foundation for some coverage but still allow your skin to peer through. Use a matte bronzer to contour your face to emphasize your cheekbones, which will also add some definition to your face, making you look more striking. Dust a bit of pink or coral blush on the apples of your cheeks to give a healthy and warm glow.

Sultry Eyes

Start with an eye primer to ensure your make up lasts all night long. Apply a beige or bronze eye shadow to the entire lid of your eye, and take it up to the crease. For a subtle but smokey effect, apply a dark brown lightly to the crease and outer ‘V’ of your eye to give it depth and definition. This will make your eyes look bigger. Line your eyes with eyeliner and add a few coats of mascara.

The Naked Palette by Urban Decay has a great variety of eye shadows and it should be a staple in every girls make up bag. The eye shadows are suitable for a subtle glam look or a smokey eye for the perfect night out.

Lips

It’s important that the lips don’t take over the eye make up. If you’ve gone for a smokey eye, keep the lips simple with either a sheer pink lip gloss or nude lipstick. If you’ve kept your make up simple, go for a bold color that stands out and adds color to your face.
