Women are notorious for lying about how old they really are. Now, it's getting a little bit harder to do that. Taiwanese researchers have just developed a new tool that helps pinpoint your skin's real age.
This new laser emits a burst of infrared light to look right under where the upper layer of your skin and lower layer of your skin meet. The laser, which was tested on 52 subjects between the ages of 19 to 79, was proven to gauge the “true” age of a person's skin.
However, this laser won't only be used for calling your bluff. This tool will be used to monitor the overall health of a person's skin over a period of time and help develop personalized “anti-aging” products.
