Les Tablettes de Bastet: The Newest Dior Palate

Christian Dior has always impressed us by incorporating art into fashion. Years after his death, his legacy is still reflected in Christian Dior clothing designs, as well as make- up.

Dior has recently released Les Tablettes de Bastet, the newest eye shadow palate, created by French artist Vincent Beaurin. The palate is a set of three circular shadows containing natural pigments: orange (saffron), blue (sapphire) and pink (silex). The shades are located in the center of the magnetized plate in Dior’s favorite gray.

The pallet is not just make up for another season, but rather an allusion to the Egyptian goddess whose  image as a woman with the head of a cat (lion) symbolizes the beauty, joy, love and home.
