Online Makeup Shopping Made Easier: Findation

Online shopping is taking over in-person shopping. Well, at least in my opinion. Not only is online shopping super convenient, at times, it could be way cheaper than purchasing an item in stores.

One of the only purchases I don’t make online, are makeup purchases. Unless of course, I’ve purchased the product in person previously, makeup is something that’s difficult to gauge online.

Well, not anymore at least. There’s a new website out there, called findation, that helps you choose perfect foundation tones, online. Findation is a global project, which was launched in 2012 that is working towards creating the world’s largest usable database of matching foundation colors.

All the website asks is to enter two foundation shades that you use (and are happy with), into their database, and findation will help you find your shade of foundation in any other product in the world.

This allows women to purchase new foundations via the Internet, without ever having to step foot in a store. Honestly, how cool is that?
