I'm all for collaborations. Whether they are high/low collaborations in the fashion world or artists collaborating with cosmetics companies, it's always fun to see an outside perspective influence a brand.
Today's collaboration focuses on the latter, artist Curtis Kulig and Smashbox Cosmetics are collaborating on a makeup collection, with a universal message meant to inspire women everywhere.
Kulig, a graffiti artist, is very particular about spreading his message: that love is universal. “It's relatable to any human being, anywhere in the world.” Kulig is known to relay the message in a fun and energetic way, painting different sweet nothings in bright red paint.
Smashbox and Kulig collaborated on this makeup collection, called “Love Me”, and it truly matches the artist's work. The colors are all soft and blush toned, the lipstick is the same color red as his paint, the eyeliner looks like the paint pens he uses, and the design of the eye shadow palettes makes “love me” in the canvas.
This collection is now available on smashbox.com.
