I’m all for collaborations. Whether they are high/low collaborations in the fashion world or artists collaborating with cosmetics companies, it’s always fun to see an outside perspective influence a brand.

Today’s collaboration focuses on the latter, artist Curtis Kulig and Smashbox Cosmetics are collaborating on a makeup collection, with a universal message meant to inspire women everywhere.

Kulig, a graffiti artist, is very particular about spreading his message: that love is universal. “It’s relatable to any human being, anywhere in the world.” Kulig is known to relay the message in a fun and energetic way, painting different sweet nothings in bright red paint.

Smashbox and Kulig collaborated on this makeup collection, called “Love Me”, and it truly matches the artist’s work. The colors are all soft and blush toned, the lipstick is the same color red as his paint, the eyeliner looks like the paint pens he uses, and the design of the eye shadow palettes makes “love me” in the canvas.

This collection is now available on smashbox.com.

Big tits… Your basic nightmare.” Marie couldn’t have said it better. “When Harry Met Sally” taught me a lot of things, but none more pressing than the arrival of beautiful women in my life. They are indeed my nightmare. My compadres, my sisters, my friends, yet — indeed — my worst f*cking nightmare. And […]

Why Shaving My Head For Cancer Created Controversy For Me

For most of my life, except for that middle school awkward period, I have been fairly confident in my personality and appearance. Nearly four months ago, I had my head shaved at my university’s St. Baldrick’s Day event to raise money for and support children’s cancer research. Right off the bat I received mixed opinions, […]

I’m sure you guys remember Noah Ritter, otherwise known as the “Apparently” kid. He’s a 5-year-old from Pennsylvania, and he appeared on “The Ellen Show” earlier today. The Hook-Up Culture Isn’t New — It Is The ‘Old-Fashioned’ Culture

We tend to do a good job at romanticizing the past. We think about the “good old days” when things were simpler, people had more mature mindsets and men and women both exemplified class and chivalry when it came to dating. We use the term “old-fashioned” to describe people who employ seemingly traditional ideals of […]
