Each season’s styles are determined during Fashion Week, but style is not limited to clothing. Along with particular trends in fashions, come trends in makeup. The Fall/Winter 2012-13 runways were all about embellished makeup.
Here are the top five eye makeup trends you should try this season:
Embellished Cat Eye
The cat eye is my go-to can’t live without makeup necessity. This season, expect to see much bolder cat eyes, more Bardot style, and in different colors.
Blue Lashes
I have to admit, I followed this trend when I was back in middle school and am so excited it’s making a comeback. Something about royal blue lashes draws attention to the face in a positive way.
Jewel Toned Lids
One of this season’s biggest color trends is anything jewel toned. Jades and purples in metallic shades would work nicely together as an eye shadow duo for fall.
Tight Liner
Eyeliner lined very closely to the water line was seen at Rag & Bone.
Neutrals
Of course, a neutral colored shadow combination is always in style for fall, you can never go wrong.
